Autopilot
Autopilot moves the writing to the server. Queue a book, or paste a hundred one-line ideas, and the server works through every stage on its own while your laptop is closed. A cheaper model can plan while a stronger one writes the prose.

What it does not do
- Autopilot picks the strongest premise and skips the audit. Books you care most about still deserve your own pass at each stage.
- It needs the background job on the server to run. If you see "worker has not run" in the app, contact support.
- Your OpenRouter balance pays for every book it writes. The app shows an estimate before you queue.
Skip it if you only plan to publish a book or two. The core app works fully without it, and you can come back to it later from the Upgrades page inside the app.

How many books can I queue?
Up to 100 per import, as many imports as you like. Your OpenRouter balance is the real limit.
What happens when something fails?
Each step retries up to three times. After that the book shows the error and waits for you to press Resume.
